SSR- silent sustained reading
Below you fill find a Do Not Copy of the SSR project rubric. Students were provided a YELLOW copy of the rubric during the first week of school, along with a plastic page protector to keep it safe. They are expected to keep the rubric for the *entire* year. Obtaining a new copy of the rubric will be a 20% deduction on the first project they need it for.
You may use the rubric below as a reference for project expectations!
*NOTE*- EDUBirdie (the plagiarism checker) provides students with an estimate percentage of uniqueness. I know the site highlights character names and settings and counts that as plagiarism. Do not worry! The goal is for students to reach a ~70% or higher, to cushion for the various little things the site picks up on. A parent/guardian/adult signature is required for plagiarism checker print outs. (You may use any of the plagiarism checkers listed in the rubric, it does not necessarily need to be EDUBirdie).
